The Caribbean sea is such a gem. Since my trip to Cuba, I have been wanting to explore all of its beautiful destinations. I wanted a place that had lots to offer, and decided Cancun would be perfect. Located on the Yucatan Peninsula, Cancun has gorgeous white sand beaches, and crystal blue waters. The Yucatán Peninsula separates the Gulf of Mexico from the Caribbean Sea, encompassing 3 Mexican states, plus portions of Belize and Guatemala. Cancun offers fun, relaxation and adventure. The flight to Cancun, non-stop from LAX is 5 hours. I stayed at the All Inclusive Grand Oasis Sens, which is located in the hotel Zone. The hotel had plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment. My room was outstanding. It had a private hot tub, and a beautiful view of the ocean.

Most days, I spent lounging in a cabana on the beach, eating yummy tacos, swimming in the blue waters, or playing beach volleyball.

Like I previously said, Cancun and its surrounding area offers lots of adventure and outdoor activity.  I took a paid excursion, and they were guided me through all of the adventures, which I thought was an easy and simple to explore without stressing myself out. For my excursions, I went ATV’ing, and Ziplinig,

There are plenty of hiking trails, and small water holes to swim in as well. I also explored the famous Cenotes. Throughout the Yucatan Penisula, there are Cenotes, which are natural pits, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath.IMG_7047

If you want great entertainment, sunny and warm, and lots of activity, the Yucatan Peninsula is the perfect escape.

Until Next Time. Happy Adventuring!
