This has been such a fun weekend for me! I have an Annual Disneyland Pass, and go about once a month. I decided to go this past weekend, and had an unexpected delight. Starting on March 10th and going until April 16th, California Adventure Park is hosting a Food & Wine Festival.
During this month long fest, there are awesome vendors, food trucks and even live music! I would say its the best way to explore something new and have a magical day at Disney!
There are a variety of vendors up and down the park. I stopped at a place called Uncork California. They offered 3 flights, white/red/mimosas, ranging from $16-$20. I ordered a flight of white wine, and the best part was that all of the wines came from different regions within California. They were generous with their pours, and serve the entire flight at once. If you are on a budget, or want to try several stands, and come with a group of people, each of you can get a glass with just one flight!
I did enjoy all of the wines, however, if you do not choose this venue, that’s OK! There are so many different options to choose from.
If you can’t make it out this next month, I still suggest going to Disneyland/California Adventure to experience the fun! Not many people know, but Disney’s California Adventure has its own winery, Golden Vine Winery!
So if you are ever at the Resort and want to enjoy a nice glass of vino, I highly recommend Golden Vine Winery and Wine Country Trattoria.
Unfortunately, you can not just buy tickets to the Food & Wine Festival, Theme park admission is required. However, if you do have an Annual Pass, or if you’ve had the urge to go to Disney’s California Adventure Park, this is the perfect time! While you are there, don’t forget to check the park too! Of course you will experience magical rides, lively shows, fun photo spots and character sightings.
Hope you enjoy! Happy Adventuring…Until Next Time!
